Seeing other people successful makes me as much or more than me doing it myself because that means there is a multiplying effect if somebody else is doing it.

Learning to choose love over fear is really important. We have become addicted to using fear as a driver. We believe that if we are hard on ourselves, we are gonna get better results.
Bradley Charbonneau
Apparently, cats have 9 lives. For most humans, it’s usually just 1. For better or worse, he is a human.
For all practical purposes and as far as any outsider could see, his life was perfect. He has his own company, lived in a house in the middle of San Francisco, and went every summer to his wife’s home country in Europe.
Yet, on the inside, he was wondering when “that life I’m supposed to be living” was going to start.
He was starting to hope he was a cat because, apparently, the life he had imagined, wasn’t going to happen in this lifetime.
Until he took action on November 1, 2012.
Then everything changed.

Oftentimes, we are too close to what we are trying to do to be able to see it. Having somebody on the outside to come in and help develop that is supremely important and powerful as you grow.
Carolin Zeitler
On one of her travels after she graduated high school, Carolin Zeitler met a woman who studied dance therapy. When she heard the term, she knew this was what she needed to study. A couple years later, she started to study dance therapy. The training did so much for her and her personal development and for that alone it was worth doing.
A couple of years later, she became an instructor and a member of the board of examiners at the dance therapy institute, where they developed a training for coaches who would use movement and expression as two of their main tools in coaching. Later in Qatar, she built a communication coaching company, as well as a women’s empowerment initiative from scratch. They built a community, offered year-round events, like workshops, masterminds and smaller conferences to keep the How Women Work (HWW) community engaged.
She then moved to a little island where she's been living her purpose in smaller ways by giving workshops at festivals, coaching one-to-one clients, ghostwriting books for entrepreneurs. Recently she's gotten involved in the Gaianet project, which has given her a chance to discover new ways of working together and organizing a company. Her work has always been about flow, connection, culture, inclusion and growth.

The Impact Collective
Luckily, I always felt like I had a choice. I always felt like I could do different things and I always found a way to do it. It's a mindset of not being willing to just resign yourself to something. But just say “no there has to be a way, there has always to be a way”. I think that led me to believe that I could always do something meaningful with my life.
Evan Herrman
Evan Herrman graduated from Oral Roberts University, married for 10 years with two boys and another boy on the way. He loves personal growth and reading. He is a real estate agent by day and a podcast host by night. Evan is a superhero to his children and a wonderful husband to his wife.
He has been on a personal growth journey the majority of his life trying to figure out how to become the perfect version of himself when he found out it was impossible.
It wasn’t until he learned how to love himself that he starts seeing the change that he wanted in his life. He has now learned how to love himself through the process and journey of change without seeking a destination but enjoying the journey and sharing it with everyone along the way so that if they can relate to any part of the journey they can see it modeled.

The first thing I had to do was learn how to love myself in the process of change . Once I could learn to love myself in the process of change, I actually started seeing change happen.
Ellen Shane
Ellen Shane was born and educated at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After working at various positions (Xerox, STS Systems, and as a Program Director at a nonprofit to help university graduates secure entry level positions), she left the working world to focus on raising her three children. She became active on the boards of the PTA’s at her children’s schools, and was also the “room parent” in each class for all three children over the years.
Following Emily’s death, their family founded The Emily Shane Foundation and started the SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program as she felt compelled to do more. This Program helps others with something Emily herself dealt with in her life (academic struggles) who could not otherwise afford the support they truly need. The Program incorporates our initial “good deeds” concept and roots, as each SEA participant must perform one good deed per session and record it on our website. This embraces our Foundation’s “Pass it Forward” motto, and instills a social consciousness in our youth. In addition to the SEA Program, she has a private grief support practice.
She recently launched a children’s book titled “Emily’s Gift: The True Story of Sherlock and Jackson”. Sales of the book help support the SEA Program.
