Currently, Cory lives in Cincinnati with his awesome wife and three amazing children.

Wendy Yates
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Wendy Yates grew up in the military and started doing design work in her early 20’s when a developer from the Big Island took a chance on her. While doing the model-home work it became apparent that she had a natural talent for visualizing a space from a floor plan. Her early mentorship was invaluable and eventually gave her the confidence and support she needed to start her own business, which truly began to flourish when she moved to Colorado.
Throughout the years, Wendy has worked both independently and in collaboration with other designers, architects and developers on residential, hospitality and commercial projects. At one point, she owned and operated a showroom in Denver while also managing her design business based in Summit County. In 2009, Wendy founded Abigail-Elise Interiors, Inc which was more recently rebranded as Abigail-Elise Design Studio to encompass the larger scope of services that they offer.
After a couple of decades of primarily doing interior design and development work, she realized that she wanted to offer something more, something that truly gave back to society in a bigger and more meaningful way. That’s something became Well Fit Human Retreat, LLC, founded in 2019, and it’s her way of bridging the gap between luxury living and social change.
Beyond the chronological order of her life events, Wendy wants to share that at her core she is dedicated to living a life of purpose with the intention of reinventing how people see entrepreneurs in design. She is focused on building a company whose culture is rooted in the values of each individual as they interact with the whole so that together we are actively participating in positive change.
